Our Mission

THE MISSION OF GOOD NEWS COMMUNITY CHURCH IS TO OBEY CHRIST BY…sharing the Gospel, transforming ever increasing numbers of the spiritually lost in our community into Christ followers, and building up ever increasing numbers of committed believers by providing opportunities for spiritual growth. 

Our Pastor

Pastor Jack King is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, with a Master of Divinity degree.  He is excited about preaching the Good News to the Twin City area.
He is a former business owner in the community, served as the mayor of Festus and was on its City Council for several years.  He and his wife Ellie, have been married for 39 years and have three grown children.
